Jen + Caryn - Canmore Elopement Photographer

Minutes after Jen + Caryn's ceremony started, it began to rain harder than I've ever experienced while photographing; thunder boomed from all directions, before the clouds met in the middle, the downpour began, and it wasn't long before we were all soaked from head to toe. After the ceremony Jen said to me: When I looked over at Caryn and saw her smiling and laughing amidst all of the rain, I knew that I was marrying the right person.

Amanda + Jeremy - Kananaskis Elopement Styled Session

It's been weeks since we shot this elopement session out in Kananaskis, yet I'm still in awe of how it all came together; incredible things happen when you surround yourself with a crowd of wonderful individuals who commit, show up, and go above and beyond in what they set out to do. This session was one of two that Emily + I had put together for The Wild Kin workshop, and I'm still buzzing from the thrill of being out in Kananaskis, on the most incredible summers day, shooting these two babes amongst our workshop attendees.

Emily + Nathan - Emerald Lake Lodge Elopement

There couldn't have been a more perfect pair (or location, or weather, or time of year!) to wrap up my 2017 wedding season. Emily and Nathan eloped at Emerald Lake Lodge, in Field, BC this past Tuesday in the company of a few of their family members. The big celebration will be happening in the weeks to come as they both fly home to the East Coast to celebrate their marriage with all of their family and friends!

Allie + Nick - Kananaskis Elopement

Ohhh these two; how do I even begin to express how happy I am to have had the chance to meet and get to know them over these last couple of months. Meeting Allie and Nick didn't feel like meeting strangers; rather, it felt like walking into a comfortable space and catching up with two people who I felt I had to have known for years prior, or perhaps in another lifetime even.
