Winter Mini Session for Serena
Today's blog post is a little different from my usual life updates/adventures/or inspirational posts; however, this is one of the most important blog posts that I've written yet this year, and I would love if you took the time to thoroughly read it's entirety. As the winter + Christmas season approaches, now is the best time to use our own talents to serve others. I believe that by serving others, we are able to uplift, inspire, and unite one another to create a positive and rewarding life. Each year, I would like to bring the community together and give back to one deserving family. This November, I encourage you to join me in giving back to Serena Bonneville and her family. Serena is a gorgeous, talented, and optimistic 16 year old living in Surrey, British Columbia. This fall she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. She has an incredibly inspirational blog where she posts about the daily struggles (and silver-linings) of living with "ALL". I strongly encourage you all to check out this incredibly well-written blog feed, as well as to learn a bit more about Serena through her own words, and to gain a better understanding as to what she is going through.
Her blog's URL is entitled "Breeding Optimism", and I know that with the help of everyone who reads this, that we can join her in continuing to harbour positivity, and to aid in breeding optimism for her journey to come.

Through the gift of photography, I will be offering mini sessions for families, children, couples, pets (etc), during November 17th and 23rd (might be adding Nov. 24th if there's enough interest)
ONE HUNDRED percent of the proceeds will be going to Serena + her family, so please spread awareness about these sessions with your friends and family!
You can find available dates and times on the EVENT PAGE, as well as booking instructions on how to secure your session.
PLEASE either share the Facebook event, or this blog post with your own family and friends, so that we can book up all of the sessions and give back to the Bonnevilles.
